If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’m pretty much an open book with you all. You’ve read about my ups, my downs, and everything in between. What you may not know, however, is something that I may not even know. That is simply my “why.”
We often live life on autopilot and forget to take a moment to remember why we’re doing something in the first place. Why do I do this or do that? Why do I like this or dislike that? Figuring out your why, in any situation, can lead to you living a more mindful life or even aid you in finding your passion or purpose.
This is why I’m bringing back my “Why I” series. But what does this mean you can expect to see from me? Well, I will pick a subject each week and try my best to identify my why in a variety of different circumstances.
For reference, here are a few topics I intend on writing about soon:
- Why I Write
- Why I Write Poetry
- Why I Started Therapy
- Why I Listen To Music
- Why I Joined/Left The Military
- Why I Play Video Games
I already have a long list of ideas to write about in addition to what you see above. I’d love to make this a long-running series, much like my gratitude journal. Why? Because I feel that it’s a good way for me to rediscover myself, and I believe it’ll give you all more insight into my mind and soul.
With that said, I look forward to sharing more of my story in the coming months. I deeply appreciate all of the support from everyone as we continue on this journey together. Have a great day. 🙏

I look forward to reading your Why I blogs 😊 I’m curious about the military one.

I think it’s so important to share the struggles we have so others can remember they’re not alone, and to normalize the fact that mental health is just as important as physical health.
I look forward to this serious and learning more about you!

I agree 100%. That’s one of the reasons I started this blog in the first place. Thank you for reading! 🙂
