My New Uploading Schedule

For the last few months, I’ve been uploading at least 3 posts per week. Consistency and routine, for me, are the keys to keeping me focused and accountable. With that said, I’ve come up with a modified uploading schedule that I’d like to share with you. At the very least, this is what you can expect to see from me in the near future.

Monday: Mental Health Monday

This has been my longest running series, and it will continue because I feel it has the potential to help others, which is ultimately my goal. I know this series has certainly helped me.

If you’re not familiar with this concept, I basically choose a song associated with mental health in some way and put it on blast. I’ve always included my own thoughts of the song, a link to the music video, and the lyrics of the song for those that are deaf or hard of hearing.

Tuesday: Poetry

I used to write a lot of poetry when I felt something heavy in my heart. This was just an alternate way to express myself in a more creative way. I want to get back to this. I also have quite a few poems that I don’t think I’ve shared before, but I will soon.

I will also be reuploading some very old poems from when my mind was in a dark place. My hope is that these can still help someone find comfort and know that they’re not alone.

Wednesday: Inspirational Quote

I’ve been doing this series for a while as well. It has seen some improvements, such as me reflecting on what the quote means to me. Most recently, the quotes have come exclusively from video games, but I may branch out a little bit more.

Thursday: Why I Thursday

I’m bringing back my “Why I” series soon. This is where I choose a certain topic and try to elaborate on why it’s important to me. Knowing your why in any situation is a powerful motivator. I believe this will be a good way for me to rediscover myself, and it may provide you with a little more insight into my mind and soul.

Friday: Gratitude Journal

I started doing this series as a way of reflecting on the past week and being more grateful for the week ahead. There’s always something to be grateful for, even when you don’t think there is. In a world full of darkness, look for the light.

Saturday: Video Game Content

Video games have always been a huge part of my life. I need to get back into writing about them, and I have some ideas to do this. Reviewing games I’ve finished, showcases of upcoming games, a character analysis series, and showcasing my mancave collection. This adds a lot of variety to the video game side of things without being exclusively game reviews.

Sunday: Free Space

I don’t always have the motivation to write, so leaving at least one day open like this should reduce feelings of burnout. I may post on these days if I have random thoughts to talk about, but otherwise, I may not post at all.

Wrapping Up

I don’t have much more to add, but I’d love to know your thoughts on this schedule! Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful. I try to be as inclusive as possible and offer a variety of things for my readers to enjoy. After all, we are building a community here.

Thank you all for reading, and have a great day! 🙏

  2. I think routines and organization, and schedules, are a huge part of what keeps me going. So I applaud you for not only making this schedule but for also sharing it. There’s a lot to be said for making your intentions known; it helps us stay accountable.
